We've been building software that matters since 2019.
Insoftex is an AI-first engineering partner for funded SaaS companies and regulated enterprises in fintech, healthcare, and energy, operating through regional US and EU companies.
Why we exist
We build software that genuinely matters — production-ready systems that businesses grow on, AI that works outside the demo, and engineering that creates leverage instead of debt.
Every software project has a failure pattern. Not a single dramatic moment — a slow accumulation: a decision made under pressure that hardens into an unmoveable constraint; a team scaled faster than the architecture can absorb; an AI initiative built on a proof-of-concept that nobody stress-tested before it went live. The software still runs. It just no longer does what the business needs it to do.
Mike has watched this pattern from three different chairs. As a software architect, he inherited systems written by brilliant engineers who had moved on, leaving behind assumptions nobody documented. As a delivery leader scaling programs to hundreds of engineers, he watched companies discover too late that growth amplifies fragility instead of fixing it. As a product founder, he felt the moment when the code ships but the business still does not work — when licensing, payments, and customer trust all have to keep running long after the launch day excitement is over.
The pattern is structural. Most software problems trace to the same root: engineering treated as a production line instead of a discipline. Speed rewarded over foundations. The team that builds the system rarely owns what happens when it fails under real conditions. Insoftex — started in Lviv in 2019 and expanded to Austin — was built as a direct answer to that structure: a partner that owns the engineering path and the consequences, from first idea through long-term scale.
AI sharpens that mission. Used carelessly, it creates faster noise. Applied with architecture, context, and human judgment, it gives teams leverage that was not available before — and the difference between an AI proof-of-concept and a production AI system is exactly where Insoftex works.
One engineering partner from first idea to long-term scale.
Product thinking, UX/UI design, architecture, AI and data workflows, development, QA, release, DevOps, scaling, and maintenance — handled as one connected path instead of a chain of handoffs.

Mike Fliorko
CEO & Founder, Insoftex
Mike learned to read software through mathematics first — patterns, constraints, proofs, failure cases. It is how computer science was taught in Ukraine, where formal rigor arrived before production shortcuts. AI and machine learning were not a trend then. They were difficult technical fields that rewarded patience and punished hand-waving. That mindset still shows up in Insoftex work: find the structure, measure what matters, and never confuse a clever demo with a product people can trust.
Mike spent years close to the pressure points of serious engineering: architecture decisions, delivery risk, executive conversations, and programs where hundreds of people depended on the system working. Automotive, navigation, embedded systems, logistics, healthcare, fintech, enterprise platforms — each domain taught a different version of the same lesson: the real architecture is revealed when the product grows, the team grows, and the customer can no longer afford surprises.
Mike has also lived the founder side of the table. In a product startup, the work did not end when the code shipped. Licensing had to work. Payments had to work. Support had to work. Customers in the real world had to keep trusting the product after the exciting launch moment was over. That changes how a person thinks about "done."
Insoftex is the partner Mike kept looking for and never found — senior enough to challenge the spec, practical enough to ship, and personally accountable enough that clients never feel handed from sales into a machine. Mike stays close to scoping, architecture, and delivery decisions by design, especially when AI, data, compliance, or scale makes the problem easy to underestimate. That hands-on involvement is not a feature of an early-stage company. It is a design choice.
That same philosophy shaped how Insoftex is structured. Ukrainian roots and years of engineering with European teams led to Insoftex OÜ — a fully EU-operated company, registered in Estonia, built for clients who need European legal structure, European engineering talent, and no US routing in their engagement. Austin led to Insoftex LLC — a North American company with US legal structure, direct working-hour overlap, and a presence in the startup and enterprise community Mike has built over years. Same founder, same quality standard, same ownership model. Two regions, both done right.
What we actually believe
These aren't mission statement words. They're the decisions we make when things get hard.
Honesty over comfort
We tell clients what we actually think, including when the spec is wrong or the timeline is unrealistic. Bad news delivered early is a service. Bad news delivered at go-live is a failure.
Delivery over presence
We measure success by working software, not by hours logged or meetings attended. If a problem can be solved in 4 hours, we don't stretch it to fill the week.
Ownership without excuses
When something goes wrong on our watch — and sometimes it does — we say so clearly, explain what happened, and fix it. We don't hide behind process or point at requirements documents.
AI-first by default
We integrate AI tooling across our entire workflow — not as a gimmick, but because it lets us move faster and spend more time on the problems that actually require human judgment.
The people behind the work
Senior engineers and delivery leads — not account managers.
Insoftex operates with a small, senior leadership team across Austin and Tallinn. Every client engagement is staffed by named engineers — not anonymous contractors.
Where we work
One brand, two regional companies, and teams shaped around what each market values.
Insoftex is the shared brand. Insoftex LLC (Austin) and Insoftex OÜ (Tallinn) are independent companies with the same founder, separate legal structures, and separate operating responsibility. US and Canadian clients engage Insoftex LLC — a North American entity with US legal structure, Austin-based client relationships, and delivery teams selected for strong English, disciplined communication, and meaningful working-hour overlap. European clients engage Insoftex OÜ — a fully EU-operated company with European engineering teams, EU data handling, and no US routing. No cross-Atlantic legal complexity. No need to route your engagement through infrastructure you are not in. Other regions are matched to the structure that best fits their commercial, legal, and delivery context.
