Senior/Lead Full-Stack Developer (Acting Lead / Ownership Role)

Take full technical ownership of an AI/data platform that is in its final pre-launch stage. You'll step in as the acting tech lead, resolve architectural gaps, and drive the product to a stable, releasable state.

We’re looking for an architecturally-minded Senior/Lead Full-Stack Developer to take full ownership of an ambitious AI/data platform currently in its final pre-launch phase. The core functionality is built; the challenge is resolving architectural inconsistencies and ensuring a stable, predictable path to launch.

You won’t be leading a greenfield project. You’ll be stepping into a team of engineers, auditing the existing system, identifying root causes of recurring issues, and driving the product across the finish line. This requires both hands-on coding skill and the ability to lead under pressure.

What you’ll do

Own overall product health: system stability, performance, and release readiness
Conduct architectural audits to identify root causes of recurring issues
Streamline development processes to make progress more predictable
Write mission-critical code — especially in AI integrations and complex data processing
Lead and mentor a team of engineers through the final stage of delivery

Backend: Python (FastAPI), complex API development
Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript
Data: Postgres, vector DB (RAG workflows), graph DB, S3
AI/LLM: OpenAI, LangChain/LangGraph, RAG approaches
Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform, Boto3

The environment

The platform operates at the intersection of web scraping, AI data processing, and complex relationship modeling. The team is expanding and this role is the architectural anchor for launch. If you’ve stabilized ambiguous codebases under deadline pressure and you prefer ownership over tickets, we want to talk.

What we're looking for

6+ years in full-stack development with a strong focus on Python and modern frontend frameworks
Practical experience with LangChain/LangGraph and building RAG systems
Understanding of scraping-heavy systems and experience working with diverse databases — vector, graph, relational
Proven experience in team management or technical mentoring
Ability to integrate quickly into an existing team and implement changes confidently yet collaboratively
Professional English for direct client communication and technical leadership
